Bought these to secure our luggage on holiday on out motorbike. They were a good price easy to order and very quick delivery. Worked very well, take some getting used to but once you get the hang of it very easy to use. Would recommend.
Was guest at hotel with in-room safe that was locked when I arrived... was still locked when I left. Third day I saw how it was going to be, so I bought this pacsafe bag protector. Most of what I wanted to protect would not fit through the holes in the mesh, but the purposefully left hole to fit around backpack straps is huge! And there is no way to close that hole except rotating the cable catch to that location and using the lock to secure the hole loop of the mesh.
Suggestions:
1. The cable should be made like the plain cable where you can unthread it from the keeper and re-thread it to include the hole loop as needed.
2. A liner bag with loops that could be threaded onto the cable...(separate purchase) out of sight, less temptation.
I don’t agree with the TSA locks for this product! Why?? Because no one will lock this inside an airport! You had the old locks which were amazing! You killed the security of the product by selling it with TSA code lock. And besides that, you stopped even selling individually the safe locks so one that wants safety has to buy your product (exomesh) and search around the market for a good-fit lock to replace the low-safety code lock. Started with amazing solutions and you start losing the point.. friendly speaking only as I love pacsafe and I own more than 50 of your bags and products. But some of the new models don’t even lock safely - why are you changing this??? Thanks for making amazing products and keep making them without destroying what makes pacsafe amazing and unique
Thank you for your feedback.
We are sorry to hear about your experience with the TSA lock.
We understand that feeling confident about your bag’s security is essential when traveling.
We use TSA‑accepted locks because they offer a strong balance of security and travel convenience. They keep your belongings protected under your own combination while allowing airport security to inspect luggage without breaking the lock, which is a global standard among trusted travel brands.
Thank you very much for your feedback again.
in response the individual who orefered the key lock your response. thats just marketing speak. tsa locks are not very secure... mostly due to convenience..... for the TSA... who dont like it when you are secure. they are cheaper too... due to lack of security and overly abundant canvenience for tsa, who often dont put the lick back on... why are you making this not a suitcase convenient for tsa? its convenient for you because its cheap and is the bare minimum
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts—we truly value all feedback, including critical perspectives like yours.
We understand your concerns about TSA-approved locks. While they are designed to allow airport security to inspect luggage without damaging it, we recognize that they may not meet every traveler’s expectations for maximum security. Our decision to include TSA-compatible features is based on balancing security, travel convenience, and compliance with international airport regulations.
That said, we’re always listening to our community, and your input is important as we continue to improve our designs.
Thanks again for your honest feedback—it helps us do better.
very good - i would like be with normal key lock, not combination lock
WHY you have with combination lock? I bought in Europe and in Philippines LOCALLY and is with KEY LOCk..
combination lock is NOT SAFE!!!!
Thank you for your feedback.
We understand that you prefer a traditional key lock. However, we’ve recently upgraded our locks to TSA-approved combination locks to enhance both security and travel convenience.
These combination locks are safe and reliable, and they allow TSA staff to open and inspect your bag without causing any damage, which is especially helpful when traveling through airports in the U.S. and other countries that follow TSA guidelines.
We appreciate your feedback and will certainly pass it along to our product team as we continue to improve our offerings.
If you have any other questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out!
Thank you very much.
